# Getting started

> From signing up to your first working app, in five steps.

Appnetic turns a description into a real Expo / React Native app. This page takes you from signing up to your first working version.

**1. Create an account**

[Sign up](https://app.tryappnetic.com/sign-up) with email, Google or GitHub. You get a personal workspace on the Free plan, with no card needed.

**2. Describe your app**

On your workspace home, type what you want in plain words and press Enter. Say who it's for, the main screens, and how it should feel. For example:

* "A habit tracker where every streak grows a little garden. Soft greens, big friendly buttons."
* "A menu and loyalty card for my coffee shop, with a stamp for every tenth latte."

Appnetic creates a project, names it from your prompt, and starts the agent. You can also attach screenshots or files to show what you mean.

**3. Watch it build**

The agent writes the code in its own cloud sandbox, and the chat shows what it's doing. When it finishes, every change is typechecked and bundled for Android. A change that passes becomes a **working** version.

If the checks fail, the agent first tries to fix its own errors. If it can't, the version is saved as **broken**, with the errors attached, so you can [fix it with AI](https://tryappnetic.com/guides/fix-a-broken-version) or roll back.

**4. Try it**

The preview panel runs your app in the browser as soon as it's ready. To hold it in your hand, open it on your phone with Expo Go. See [Preview on your phone](https://docs.tryappnetic.com/preview-on-your-phone.md).

**5. Keep going**

Send another message to change anything: "make the buttons bigger", "add a settings screen". Each message that changes the app saves a new [version](https://docs.tryappnetic.com/versions-and-rollback.md) you can always go back to.
